Step 1: Contact your local Area Manager

Your Area Manager can fill you in on exactly what’s going on in your area, is well-informed on what the competition is doing, can tell you about local City Council gaming policies and keep you up-to-date with all hospitality and gaming industry news.

Step 2: Receive an assessment

After making contact and meeting with one of our Area Managers, a proposal will be prepared for your acceptance.

Step 3: Complete required documents

The following documentation must be completed to ensure all information is acquired for the Department of Internal Affairs approval assessment. Your Area Manager will go through this process with you.

  • Venue Agreement (Contract)
  • Personal Information Form
  • Provide Venue Floor Plan
  • Temporary Authority or On Licence

Step 4: Approval process

All documentation is sent to the Department of Internal Affairs for approval. On approval, the DIA will issue your venue with a Class 4 Gambling Licence. At this point, Pub Charity will organise to have all gaming machines and ancillary equipment delivered and installed at your venue. You can also discuss signage options with your Area Manager.
